Good morning folks.  I slept late this morning, a rare thing for me. I feel rested though so I guess I needed that.  No real plans for today.  I might go and stack rocks along the driveway.  I wonder if I can get Shannon to help?     Hope everyone enjoys their day whatever your plans...

Well Friday and it is good this morning. Looks like a day of volunteer work at the store. I started a Bible study last evening at store for Thursdays from 4:30 til 5:30. I was a blast.
I heard what the new coach said and I like the no promises he pretty much spoke. I like the culture he was talking about if he can make it happen. RTR!

Good Saturday morning. 58 degrees here. Balmy comparatively. Will be heading to P'cola here shortly, to warmer weather, at least temporarily.

Well, the barn got lucky and hit darn near everything they threw up, to beat UNC 97-80. LSU got stomped by MSU. Duke and Kentucky squeaked by to advance.

Softball won on an 8th inning walk-off walk, 3-2, but baseball lost at Florida, 3-1.

Tiger advanced in match play to the final 16. The bad news is, he has to play Rory McIlroy today.

Was a busy sports day. Another one today. Y'all enjoy!

Good morning folks.  Safe traveling 2.  I'm guessing that Chech is working the knife show today.  It was 61 this morning when I went out to walk.  I was planning on walking about 4 miles but had to cut it short.  One neighbor around toward the western area of the neighborhood had a very VERY aggressive dog.  She is usually tied up but this morning she came at me. I really don't want to shoot anyone's dog but if I had continued I definitely would have had too.  Instead, I backed away slowly until I felt comfortable turning my back on it to go back towards the house.  Similar situation happened to me yesterday too except it was in the other direction.  The incident yesterday happened when I was directly in front of their house so I just kept walking.  The dog did stop before it left the yard too so I suspected they have an underground fence but I wasn't sure.  On my return trip by that house the dog came at me again an this time it got closer so I pulled out my pistol to defend myself in the event that it didn't stop.  The dog's owner came out on the porch yelling obscenities at me.  I simply let him know that I was on public property and that I have the right to defend myself.  He told me to "keep your "A" walking" to which I replied to "take your's back in your house Boy!" and I kept walking.  I don't want any problems but I WON'T be a victim for free either.  I guess I'll have to start driving to a safer area to do my walking on the weekends now...

I left home at 4:15 this morning and set up at the Jackson Show. Good day with lots of people. But I heard that a friend is in the hospital with heart problems.  Even there three weeks. Prayers, please.

Prayers up for your buddy, Chech. Hope you are doing well at the knife show. NALT, sounds like you live in a rough neighborhood. 

We made it to P'cola safely, but the traffic was horrendous. Georgia has to be empty because everybody there went to the beach on spring break.

Glad the softball team had a pretty easy time of it. Bama baseball got stomped by UF though, 12-3. Not doing too good in SEC play so far.

Texas Tech shocked Gonzaga and Va got by Purdue to advance to the Final 4. Today is the barn vs UK and MSU vs Duke to settle the other 2 positions.

The Braves are 0-2 so far.
