Good morning. 

Wow, what a line of storms came through Mississippi and Alabama yesterday.  Columbus, MS had tornadoes and lots of damage.  There were others farther south near Hattiesburg, and the one I mentioned near Corinth, MS.  But they're gone.  Whew!

Today is windy and SUNNY.  WELCOME MR. SUN!!

We went to a Mardi Gras party last night.  OMG, there was delicious gumbo, red-beans-and rice, King Cake, and plenty more veggies and such.  Fun fun. 

The couple who hosted the party had spent Friday night bailing their basement.  We had 5" of rain that night, and water came into the basement from all directions, through the walls.

The last of the rain passed through here a couple of hours ago. Lord, help us all dry out.

Glad the rain zoomed out.  That front sat here on us for 3-4 days, then last night it raced eastward.  Yikes.

The news just showed tornado damage near Corinth.  One person was killed, and plenty of damage.

I use to go through Corinth to work back in the late 70's on a Weyerhauser paper-mill.
Sunny this morning kind of cool but it rained so hard last night I may have to check the tin on our house for damage. Man it was loud. You all have a Blessed Day from the Lord and keep safe. RTR!

Good Monday (I know, oxymoron) morning! 35 degrees here, but DRY. Yesterday was sunny and very windy after the front moved through. It was so good to see the sun. 

Looks like we get a break from the rain through tomorrow, then at least a 40% chance of rain Wednesday through Sunday. Geez! 

Dustin Johnson ran away with the golf tourney in Mexico yesterday. JT tied the course record yesterday, that he set last year, with a 62. He started the day at even par and finished at -9.

JT almost got a 61, barely missing the putt at the final hole.  No idea what happened to him the rest of the tournament!   

I sat in the sunshine and read a book yesterday.  It was glorious.  The neighbor's cat came to inspect me; hadn't seen a human being in weeks.
