Yes we had lightning and thunder in Heflin today several times. Lights blinked real well one time. RTR!

I've been up since 2:30 when the storm hit.  Better now.  It's still raining and thunder rumbles, but nothing like earlier.  Lightning hit all around the Chech Villa at 2:30-3:30.  Yikes.  I got up and unplugged everything vulnerable.  Power is on here, but off in much of the region and parts of Memphis.  NASTY!

Guess I can watch some old Bama games.  TV working periodically.

Just heard from relatives in Virginia; school closed there.  This is a huge storm!!

EDIT: Make that schools closed.  Colleges, junior colleges, and all high schools, etc closed.  SNOW, ICE, FLOODING...

It’s been hovering around 35-36 degrees here since I left work yesterday. Just glad it didn’t get any colder. The mountains just north of here are getting snow and ice. DO NOT WANT!

I managed to get out in front of *most* of the rain this morning.  The alarm came early (4:30, yawn).  Now I'm doubly glad I didn't watch the last 15 minutes of the ballgame last night.

Well it shows 41 here this morning and no rain right now. From the radar Chechem has posted it might be a deluge coming though. Lord, we had some monster downpours yesterday. I hope it don't wash the knob away where we are.
I have to take Mrs Dottie for another set of shots in her disks this morning just praying they work where the others didn't. You all have a very Blessed and safe day. RTR!

The weather has taken a turn for the worse here. It's 39 degrees with thunderstorms. Lightning popping all over.
