Good morning folks.  It is beautiful but cold here this morning.  Yesterday's game was GREAT and a lot of fun to watch in person after a couple of GREAT friends called me up on Friday night offering me tickets for my family.  Very generous and I am so thankful to have such friends.  But that is the kind of people that Bama fans are. 

It was great seeing y'all again, NALT. Just wish we'd had more time to get caught up. Your kids are really growing up.

Even though we struggled a bit against a lesser opponent, it was a fun game to watch. I actually had to holler in the second half to pull those boys through. As a result, my voice is half gone today. It was worth it, though.

Mrs. Nalt left at halftime and went back to the vehicle.  Not sure if it was due to the heat up there where we were sitting (it was pretty warm) or the fact that the score was tied at 10 WITH THE CITADEL.  Regardless, we pulled out the big win after she left. AFTER. SHE. LEFT.  Hmmm, I may be onto something... Next game? From now on when I go to a Bama game,  no Mrs. Nalt?

I hope and pray our injuries are healed by auburn game we will need them I am afraid. As, we all know, this game we can throw the records out because of all the crazy things that happens and we lose like the pick 6 yes, or the kick 6. Just remember we need to disciplined for this game. RTR!

Good morning, Bama fans. 

I'm awaiting the coffee pot this morning.  Having coffee at someone else's house is always a challenge.  But I think this Virginia coffee pot is beginning to see it my way!

Not much news about our injuries yet.  Damien Harris and Leatherwood seem to be the biggest concern, but the observations of Thompson's reaction during the game by 2 isn't encouraging.  Who knows!   

Hope they heal fast.  IRON BOWL awaits.

Cold here and got to go to B'ham again today to the VA Hospital. Another sonogram on my kidneys. It feels OK to know the Lord has this in his hands though. Looking forward to Sat. but I know we need to be careful. We got to be ready for this game. RTR!

Mrs 2 has some running around to do this morning, then I intend to hit the golf course this afternoon. Gonna be weird hitting the ball off of a flat surface again. It's been a while.

Good morning. 

The coffee pot and I have made up, and I'm having an early cup today.  Yum - Gevalia!

Spent the day out in the country yesterday.  The temperature got up to 65, so we walked the woods and enjoyed the critters. The big even was helping my BIL fetch a dead beaver that he shot Sunday night at midnight.  It had been cutting trees in his yard (which borders a lake), so he waited at the shore for it and blasted when it paddled by.  That sucker weighed 35-40 lbs.  I'll post a pic in a few minutes.
