Pray Pray Pray

Update on bus accident near Memphis:

The bus indeed originated in Huntsville.
Survivors (44) are in 4 area hospitals.  Everyone on the bus was killed (2) or injured (44).  Some of those injured are critical, and 2 were transferred to critical-care units late this afternoon.

Good morning.   Coffee

The landscape around Camp Chech is snowy white.  We only had a dusting of snow here; more toward Memphis, and much more just north of there.  It's cold too; still about 31.
Ice cube

Biggest news yesterday was that Jonah Williams was on the sidelines during practice; replaced by Womack.  Deonte Brown wasn't practicing either; replaced by Cotton.  Jalen was still gingerly limping.  But Tua looked better.  The injury bug has definitely hit this team.

But it is The Citadel, so the backups can take care of business.  Should be a challenge for Eli Gold to keep up with names of players after the first quarter.

Cold morning, but no rain/sleet/snow.  I'll take it.  Still looking forward to low 60s for Saturday.

Well it has been raining here all night. Wind is blowing. Looking for a great day. Thanks Chechem and it is sad about the bus crash. God be with the victims and families. RTR!

Good morning folks.  Cold here but at least there isn't any rain.  Games like this week's tend to scare me.  Seems like these "easy" games are bad to have unnecessary injuries in.  Hope that isn't the case this week...

Prayers for the afflicted and families for those on the bus.  Pray

We are under water here in Greenville. There is a bridge completely under water that I cross to come to work every day. It's only a half mile from the office, but I had to go around the world to get here. We have had a ton of rain all week. From 2:30 AM to 5:00 AM this morning, it was a total gully-washer. Roads are closed, trees are down and traffic is even more horrible than it normally is.

Thank Heavens, it's finally coming to an end. We need a break.

I was just outside and it started sleeting. Meanwhile there was a guy "cutting grass" and a Chinook flew over at about 300'. Three things I will probably never experience again at the same time.

40 Degrees and Sunny

Haven't seen 40 in 3 days, and haven't seen the sun in 4 days.  WOOT!

2, sounds like it's time for you to get down to Pensacola; escape that swamp!

HL, you're right.  Those 3 will never happen again!

Preacher, stay warm.

NALT, really?  Citadel?

Yep, I'll be heading toward warmth while you are heading towards cold. The turkey will be good in both pacles, though.  Tongue

Yes, really.  And I don't mean that they are that good.  These type games breed over-confidence which leads to careless play and before you know it someone tweaks a knee or gets their ankle stepped on... Doesn't matter who the team is but it just seems easier in the gimme-games...  I hope not though.

Afternoon gents. Sinuses had me down pretty much all last week, but trying to bounce back now. I had the pleasure of driving to work in a nice snow shower this morning, and I think we got somewhere around 2 inches, with more possibly coming tonight and tomorrow. For this ole boy who grew up in Northport, Ala., this is the first time I remember seeing snow before Thanksgiving.
