Good morning folks.  It was about 24 degrees when I got to work this morning.  I'm back at work today after taking the day off yesterday.  I had to drive to Tifton, GA to pick up a saw that I bought on the interwebs.  Turned out to be a very long day of driving as I left home at 2:25 a.m. and didn't get back home until about 7:30 p.m.  Made a few stops along the way to stretch my legs though...

What type of saw?  Long drive for just a saw!

It is stupid cold here this morning. It will make you do stupid things like light the gas stove which we use to heat the house and go back to sleep. Got my waterlines wrapped yesterday and Mrs Dottie said the water didn't freeze not sure if we have enough to freeze or if the wrap worked.
Glad to you made the trip to South Ga without some country road police showing you the color of his lights. I was at FT. Stewart back in the 70's and they were really bad back then.
The awards looked good and of course from the 2 awards Jackson won that tells me he has the Heisman locked up. I didn't know he was a sophomore I thought he was a Freshman guess I can blame it on the cold. I did look for JK to get his name on the list for kicking but it didn't happen. Hey yall try and stay warm today my doggone arthurtism is killing me this morning. My back and hips hurting bad enough I was howling with the dogs this morning. RTR!

I bought a Craftsman 12" bandsaw from the Tifton board of Education from a website called "govdeals.com"  I got it for a REALLY good price even with driving down and back.

I always set my cruise control for the speed limit or one mph slower so I don't get tickets.  On the way home though, my oldest daughter called to talk about her sister that is living with her in South Carolina.  We talked until I was about 4 miles from the house and since I normally start losing my cell signal I turned off the highway and pulled over to finish our conversation.  Turned on my emergency flashers and wasn't sitting there even for a full minute and all of a sudden I was blinded by blue lights and the spot light shining in my sideview mirror.  I simply adjusted the mirror to reflect the light back at him and then rolled down the window just as he was walking up to the door.  He said that he was just checking to see if I was ok.  I told him, "yeah, I'm just sitting here talking on the phone."  He turned around and left.

Good morning.  Coffee

IT IS COLD!!  Ice cube  Down to 22 here now, and still dropping.

Not much news.
Kiffin still looking for a job; down in Florida now.  The team is taking time off from practice.  Saban is watching the ducks ship his lawn.

Back to the gun show today.  Last night was a bust; small crowd.

Well at 15 after 8 this morning it was 19 here and I after working construction for 33 years being raised on a farm and being in the Army one thing I learned was around 5:30 to 7 in the morning is the coldest part of the day. So I would venture to say it got down around 17 to 18 degrees here last night and Mrs Dottie was no help cause I had to get up and sleep in my recliner cause she had quilt 2 sheets and a Comforter on the bed and i could have went swimming it was so hot.
Here is hoping your gun show goes well today Chechem. Hope all you golfers get in a few shots today I and going with Mrs Dottie grocery shopping today because as she said she gets a football break for 4 hours. lol, RTR!

No.  The "hand held band saw isn't a band saw, it is a jig saw.  This one is an up-right bandsaw exactly like the one in this picture.  In fact, for all I know that could very well be the exact saw that I purchased...

Coffee

The wind must have shifted overnight.  It was 26 last night when I was driving home.  Now it's 38.  Can rain be far behind??

Back to the Gun Show today.  Dull yesterday.

Congrats to Lamar Jackson - Heisman winner.
Never saw a worse team than Navy during 1st half.  No QB, no coaching, and no team play.
