Hey brother I was standing on the street last Thursday the 10th in Heflin waiting on my wife and I had a Heart Attack. They said they lost me, and then got me back and I have the the rest of the time in Regional Medical Center in Anniston. The attack came on fro the last attacks, but this time they assigned me a new doctor there and he found a Blockage at 80% in my artery. They have put in a stint in that artery and right all my wife is ordered to allow me to do is type on here with you guys. BY the GRACE of an Almighty GOD I am still here with you all and my family today. Roll Tide Roll and I ask to see number 17 so guess you got me for a little while longer. RTR!

  Wow!  We are all so thankful that you are going to be ok.  We have really been quite concerned as you can see by reading the last few pages of this thread.  Prayers that you will continue to get stronger and better.  We need you around here for quite a while longer Preacher...

We all prayed for you, Preacher, because we knew it would take something like this for you to stop staying in touch.  My mother had an operation in the Anniston hospital and said the doctors and nurses were great. So I know you've gotten special help down here and up there.

You are all to kind but Mrs Dottie and I are so thankful for people who will stop and say that prayer that meaning back to life. I thinkas SC said above I will speak to the Lord about #18 cause I was wondering about 17 there for a while. I have to tell you all a funny story. Saturday my blood pressure kept rising even more cause I got to see the MSU game and I was upset we gave up the 3 points and ruined the defense's chance at another skunk. Then SAT. nite my blood started lowering some and the nurse could not understand, I said it was because Georgia was beating auburn. Lord has a funny way with jokes, she was an auburn fan. God it is so good to be back where the lives, and rolls. (Mrs Dottie said sorry everybody but she was so scared cause they lost me one time and got me back. She just flat forgot to post the one night she came home to shower and change for what little time she had.) RTR!

We had everybody from the sheriff to the Boy Scouts out looking for you, Preacher.  Glad to have you back.

You know, you're lucky that nurse wasn't standing on your air hose after your joke.  Aubs don't have much of a sense of humor!    Now word comes that the Aub QB (Sean White) was injured again against UGA.  So sad!
 

Alabama is sitting fat atop the polls.  Last night one of the ESPN announcers said 'Alabama could lose to Aubs and still be #1'.  Maybe not quite that secure, but we're doing fine right now.

Good morning folks.  Awfully foggy this morning on the way to the office.  Cool, not cold, temps this morning which is a big improvement from the last couple of days.  I guess that is because all of our hearts are warmed by the return of Preacher.  Tell Ms. Dottie not to apologize to us for anything Preacher.  She had her priorities just right and that is as it should be, 1. God, 2. Brother Ricky, 3. Herself.  Everyone else will fall into their proper place... We are all just so happy and thankful to have you back...
