I can't believe there are no weather reports here this AM so I'll go first.  Warm and muggy here with a 60% chance of rain today and the same predicted for the next 5 days...I feel mildewy...LOL...

Dog Days in the South.

He's 2-dogs long and half-a-dog high.  And he has more nose than most dogs have head.  He'd hunt!

   Sad news breaking:  4 policemen shot in LaPlace, LA.  Two have died.
There's a Shell Oil Refinery near there (Norco), among other industries.

A guy gave my wife what he described as a 100% German Shepard. As he aged, everything grew but his legs, so he had the body of a GS and the legs of a Dachshund. Funniest looking mutt you've ever seen.

DC50, The CW in Washington DC, will be the exclusive broadcast outlet of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) football games starting on Saturday, September 1st at noon for thirteen consecutive weeks.

Oh man, that would be great. You guys have no idea how much better it is to watch an Ole Miss - Vandy game compared to Maryland vs. Wake Forest.

Sounds good, Chech. I think the only fish they have up there are those snakeheads in the Potomac.

Sounds good, Chech. I think the only fish they have up there are those snakeheads in the Potomac.

LOL.  There are plenty of fish offshore.  Leave the snakeheads and the grinnel to the locals along those rivers.

Hey Chechem do you ever see any big snakes or even Gators when your out fishing? I just wonder if you have a lot of scenery other than the fish to look at? RTR!

Preacher, I've seen crocodiles, sharks, and sea snakes while swimming in the ocean.  And I used to do research on alligators in Louisiana.  Yes, I've seen and even caught alligators while fishing (I put a paddle in the gator's mouth, put my foot on his head, then pulled the hook with pliers).  I once caught a cotton-mouth moccasin on a top-water lure while wading in Big Creek (near Mobile).  That enough?  I have plenty of photos, even sold wildlife photography to magazines in Virginia and Alabama, but most photos would be boring to the readers here.

Man, I was wondering what type of animal life you had seen and yes that is plenty. I bet you had a great time studying all that. My dream one time was to be a Marine Biologist, but it never panned out. I love those pics and sealife in general. Thanks. RTR!
