The New York Jets reportedly offered free-agent linebacker Dont'a Hightower a five-year contract worth $55 million, with another $7 million available in incentive bonuses. But the former Alabama All-American signed a four-year deal last week with the New England Patriots worth $35.5 million, with another $8 million available in incentives.
