Do you think that maybe the Bama corners were so concerned with the back shoulder throw, that had hurt them a lot of the season, this allowed the AU rec's to get down field more easily?

It may be so, coach. Feeling the need to be infant of the man to counter it may have helped the WRs get over the top of them. On the other hand, it doesn't really explain why they were beat early. I don't recall seeing double moves, where maybe our guys overplayed the back shoulder on move one and got left in the dust on the deep move.

I hope and trust smarter minds than mine look at the tape and fix what needs fixing.

I was watching the SEC Network and they were breaking down the plays where EJ got beat. He got beat early by the speed of Coates. It wasn't due to concern for the back shoulder throw. Coates was clearly faster than Eddie.

No

boogerU had two future NFL receivers, who were taller than our DBs, and have been making crazy circus catches all year.

Simple case of theirs being bigger, faster, and stronger than ours.

Did any other team hold artis-payne to less than 100yds rushing?
