I really think university presidents are the main reason we don't have a playoff. I think they feel that the massive revenue that most programs receive might be threatened with a playoff system. I'm not sure where that rationale comes from, but I occasionally read bits and pieces that this is the concern.

I would like some ecred. I enjoyed TS, but all good things come to an end. I read woolyal sometimes, but it's a little too much for me. I get tired of seeing the f-bomb every other post. I hope this pacle takes off. Thanks for the work, Coach. Do I get some Ed-Cred now? I just applauded you dude. You now have E-cred. welcome.

I am actually considering buying Falcons season tickets, but I am going to wait to see how the new stadium pans out. They are seriously claiming that they are building a new open air stadium. Location is up for debate, either in downtown at current location or in NE Atlanta near the old GM plant. Either way, if it is open air I won't be buying. My preference would be a massive redesign of the current location to make traffic flow easier and parking/tailgating more convenient. And build it with a retractable roof!
This might be the answer.

By the way, I also sent an e-mail over to BamaRabbi and W&L. They were also going to be part of blog last year.
BamaRabbi says he will stop by tomorrow to say hello.
I hope W&L will join us too. I think he stopped posting over at TideSports about the same time I did because of all of the constant flame wars and other shenanigans that went on over there.
If we can manage to keep this place clean and friendly we might be able to get a lot of those guys to come back.
SC, I spoke with W&L about 30 minutes ago and he was grateful for letting him now of the site and will be checking it out later when he gets home. He quit posting at TS back when because of all the childish antics. I think he'll like your forum once he gets in and finds his way around. That is awesome! I stopped posting over there for the same reason. I didn't post at all after they reset me back to zero about a year ago, up until the Friday they announced they were going to shut it down. I did read it all the time though, I just didn't post because I didn't want to get sucked into all of that "I know you are but what am I" stuff that went on. In fact, if I remember correctly, the last time I saw W&L over there he was in the middle of one of those, uh "debates" trying to talk some sense in to a kid. I remember this because I had been "debating" the exact same kid just a couple of days before. It gets old in a hurry. Sure hope dd doesn't find out about this pacle.

I was glad to see the game go to Atlanta. I was at the last game in Birmingham and I have never been colder at a game. I really like having the weather out of the picture for the championship game. At one of the games in Atlanta it was sleeting outside and a lovely 73 degrees inside.
I went to the 1976 Peach Bowl at Fulton County Stadium. The coldest I have ever been in my life. 8 degrees at game time with a wind chill of -24 because of the howling wind and we were sitting next to an entry area where the wind was even worse. They better keep the dome or build another in a more accessible location. I think deahl001 is correct, the fans won't support another open air stadium.

Looks like cat is smart. Did she think it to be humorous as well?
I got her usual response (above). Then a look of, "Where's the food?" I haven't had a cat in a long time. I forgot they don't have much of a sense of humor.
