OWW!!!

I suppose it is possible that one day i will tire of watching this. But on second thought, no. I don't think that is possible. Imma watch it again right now. Swat. And again. Swat......

I agree with you. This play will live in infamy as far as Alabama fans are concerned and will be a perpetual embarrassment to the barn.

I can't remember if this is already in the crimson flame thread, but it needs to be there if it isn't.

Did you notice how he moved the ball from his left arm to his right arm when he cut back across the field?  Little things like that are very impressive to me.  Of course he has phenomenal talent, but he still does all the little things the correct way too.

Where do you think I got this?  Tongue

I might be able to do something if I get a chance to look into it a little more.  The tough part will be bypassing those random numbers and letters that you have to type in to vote.  Of course there could be a back door that is wide open.  I will try to look into this week and see what I can figure out.

Yeah, the random numbers are used to prevent automation, from what I understand. That's why I can't understand why the gap keeps widening, unless they have more people doing what we're doing. If I lived in Hawaii, you can bet my azz wouldn't be sitting around spending time voting on the computer.  Grin

Done. It seems that each day they get their lump of votes that keeps them where they are at percentage wise in the poll, it could be no more than 100 votes but it is very consistant.

On the other hand, it's hard to say that 100 or more people are voting each day for Cassie.

 Sad

I suspect they have automated their voting with a computer somehow.  Our method still requires a real person and takes time.  A computer doing the same thing could vote many more times than a real person.

In my opinion, there is no way they could have more votes by real people.  I don't know anything about their program.  But I do know that we had almost 4000 show up for a game the other day, which set a NCAA record for attendance at a single regular season game.  It seems like we have broken the Bama attendance record several times the last year or so with several games in the 3000's.  Everyday I see voting reminders all over twitter and the internet from the coaches, players, web sites like ours, and other fans.  They must be using computers to vote.

Maybe we can figure out a way to level the playing field before it is too late.

Any ideas, SC?
45289  Around Campus / The Quad / Re: Baseball Alabama vs Vanderbilt on: April 22, 2012, 04:16:58 PM
Alabama loses to Vandy 9-7.

Bama takes 2 out of 3 but Vandy avoids the sweep with today's win.

They've got to quit blowing big leads. That just says a lot about how weak the relief pitching is. The bats have finally started making some noise, but the relief pitching has been abysmal most of the time. A couple of the wins have been from walk-off home runs after relinquishing the lead. They can't keep having to do that. CMG may need to let the starters go deeper into the game, I dunno.

No way does Price exceed Sandusky or Petrino, especially Sandusky. We're talking about CHILD RAPE for God's sake. Sandusky has resulted in the firing of several individuals and two who will be going to trial for covering it up.
