Jake Coker, Phillip Sims, AJ, JPW, McElroy, and even Andrew Zow would be an improvement at QB for this team.

No way to sugarcoat it, Hurts played a lousy game. His passing just gets worse the more he plays. But part of the blame, maybe all, goes to OC Daboll. I think he has designed his offense with Tom Brady in mind, and Hurts ain't Brady! What Hurts is is a great running QB. Secretariat couldn't pull a plow and the Budweiser Clydesdales can't win the Kentucky Derby, but if you put them in the right environment, they are pretty much unbeatable. I think Tua is a better fit in Daboll's offense and Hurts is suffering in the wrong offense. I hope that Bama can win the NC but it will be really tough without strong QB play. I always think Bama will win and I think the defense can pull it out, but we aren't going to win a UGA-OK style game. Sure hope Daboll moves on before next year!

Great news! Looking forward to another classic Bama-Clemson game. And did I tell y'all how sorry I am that UGA beat AU? Haven't gotten over it yet! Hee! Hee! Hee!

Thanks for the good work, Coach. Great job all year. All in all, I thought it was a poor performance by Alabama. Sure the RB's had a good average per carry, but when we needed a yard, we didn't get it. IMHO, Bama misses a stud running back that can be counted on to get yardage. I think either Bo, Damien, or Najee might be that back, but the constant rotating in and out destroys their rhythm. Hurts just doesn't scare anyone with his passing. He may put up big numbers against over matched opponents, but stronger teams just crowd the line, rush the passer, and force mistakes. I would have loved to see Tua given a shot, now I just hope he doesn't transfer. Coaching and game plan was just awful! Did Daboll even look at any AU game film? Did Pruitt? Sad to say, but our offense looked old, tired, and out of date. Maybe it works in the pros where everyone is the same. I sure hope Saban gets rid of Daboll after the season!

Since the NCAA let UNC skate on over 1000 cases of this kind of violation, I assume all schools can do this without any problems.

Any investigation involving fraud in college basketball that doesn't include Kentucky is in itself fraudulent! Just my opinion.

This team just not look sharp either on offense or defense. DaBoll's offense is unimaginative to say the least and, if not for Hurts running, Bama might be in real trouble. Potentially super good receivers but Bama is ho hum at throwing the ball. Potentially super running backs but can't run the ball consistently. I watched Clemson, Oklahoma and USC easily get receivers open and Bama doesn't. And it isn't just because of poor line play. Puzzling.

TAM collapsed after their QB was hurt. They would have been much better off just running the ball, burning clock and punting. And then at the end, TAM defense was exhausted, much like Bama-Clemson last year. I don't see how Sumlin survives unless he wins all his early conference games and, even then, I think it may take 10-2 to savehim.

i thought the offense looked awful! If this is DaBoll's best, Bama is in trouble. Hurts was OK, but the lack of a passing threat allowed FSU to move everyone up and pretty much stifle Bama's running game. Kicking game was awful! Where do they find these guys? Do they ever practice? Good/great HS kickers should jump at the chance to come to Bama and this is the best we can find?  Bama should roll through the regular season but late season and playoffs, if we make them, are going to be tough. i will go ahead and say it, Bama can't win a championship unless Hurts significantly improves his passing! Rant over, on to next week.
