I'm happy for Henry but really feel personally that Stanford 's guy deserved it more...
NALT, he played in a conference with no D. They picked the right guy. Yesh, I know that but my thing is that he had over 1000 kick return yards this season. I don't care who you play against, that is outstanding and deserving IMO... Maybe Henry will give it back since he doesn't deserve it.  The comparison that I read was he avg. 28 yards of return yards so instead of starting on the 25 ....... didn't sound too impressive to me...IMHO  |

hscoach, I frequent a private Gator's message board that spawned off from the old Gatorsports board after a few generations. Some over there were complaining about non-called holding penalties that Bama was getting away with. Did you see such when you were working up the review of the game? I'm sure there likely were some on both sides but just curious about what you saw... Thanks, I'll hang up and listen...
You can almost call holding on every play. It was happening with both teams. AU was complaining about the same thing and the pictures they posted showed holding could have been called. As a former DL on the high school level I can assure you every O line holds on every play. I'm sure they neglected showing their holds on against us that weren't called. Unless it's a blatant tackle I don't get too worked up about it on either team. If the ref's are calling it fine or if their letting them play it's fine with me. |
