Around Campus / The Quad / Re: Report: Alabama’s Mario Cristobal is top candidate for Miami job

I’m kinda torn on the CMC going to Miami thingy. While his recruiting has been invaluable….I don’t think he’s a great OL position coach. Since he’s been here the OL has had a huge drop off. This may not be a popular statement but our OL has struggled against mediocre competition this year. I think the LSU game was OK but they seem to always struggle getting assignments correct. To me that’s coaching. So, it’s a trade off if CMC leaves. Do we drop in quality recruiting? Does the quality of OL play increase? Maybe….maybe not. But the one thing is for sure….trust in the process…..trust in Coach Saban’s leadership.

I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful Christmas morning. Last Sunday I was asked to shape something about Christmas at my church. After thought and prayer this is the outline of what I told the congregation. I hope y'all don't mind me sharing.
There are two important parts to the season we call Christmas.
1) As children we’re raised in the joys of Christmas.
Of the wonder and excitement of Christmas morning.
Seeing the presents from Santa.
The love of parents watching their children.
I’ve been blessed to experience both in my lifetime and am now enjoying seeing my 2 ½ year old grandson know the joys of Christmas morning.
2) Then as we grow….we find out what became of that little babe wrap up and laying in a manger.
He stepped out of Heaven and all authority
Instead of receiving Him as a King, beginning at age 2….mankind went about killing Him
It was because of LOVE that Jesus was willing to do this…..for you and for me
Those of you here who have accepted Jesus as your Savior know of what I speak
At some point in our life we have to merge these two into what is truly a joyous and wondrous event.
Christmas
It took some of us…me...a long time to put things into the right perspective.
What about giving gifts at this time of year?
This Christmas give someone you truly love….the best gift they could ever receive….
The Gospel message….of a Savior….who is not a fairy tale once a year
But is alive……and full of hope and truth…..and everlasting peace!
And that’s it for me……
The love for my family…my friends....and the love for my Savior…Jesus
I believe this year God revealed to me true meaning of Christmas…..Love
A very Merry Christmas to all my friends at CRS and here's wishing everyone a very blessed New Year.

The only problem I see with King Henry, is initial contact at the line. It takes him a few steps to get up to speed. When he is hit prior to that, he goes down pretty easily. But Lord, when he gets up to speed, look out!
^^^This^^^ His top end speed is really deceiving to LBs and DBs I think. They take bad angles......or maybe they avoid head on contact with 6' 3" 240 lbs. running 4.5.
