This could be 8 for Saban.  Not sure what his final tally will be and if that record will ever be broken, or who would be the coach to do it.  But I do know what team that coach will be coaching.

I'm confused about this team.  We beat Gonzaga AND Houston in back to back games, but then we are very sloppy against teams we should beat easily.  There is a lack of consistency in effort.  I think it is a sign of immaturity and guys thinking they can coast against lesser opponents.  If that is the case there is hope they can grow up by March.  Otherwise they might get knocked out in the first round.  But if they make it through that first weekend, look out!  They might make a pretty deep run.

I changed my last couple of picks a couple of days ago because it was the only path to victory.  It was the only combination I could pick that gave me a mathematical chance to catch both of you.  I thought it was a long shot and was reluctant to change it.  I didn't know anything about the LSU situation until I was watching the LSU basketball game tonight.

It all comes down to this last game.

Dang, the line has moved to Kansas State -10.  It was KS -4 1/2 the last time I looked.  It was LSU -2.5 when I entered the games for the Bowl Round.  So in theory things are looking good for me, but we shall see soon enough.

Whew!  The deadline passed, now I just have to get the pick right. 

Thanks Ricky.  Unless 2 or HL change their last pick in the next minute I think I will pass them for the overall as well.  Apparently LSU only has 39 scholarship players and none of them are QBs.

I'm not sure if they can beat us once in one decade.
