Mason chose to go to Oklahoma State despite taking a $400,000 drop in salary, a source told ESPN, confirming a report by the Oklahoma State student newspaper. That says a lot. There is a new stench coming from the stinkiest village on the plains. |

Whether there is an affair remains to be seen. But lots of other mess flying around at the Barn: Click here for linkTo me, sounds like some of the same institutional/cultural issues of 'outside intereference' with the FB program the Boogs have been dealing with for years. Plus, Harsin seems to want people of character in his team and Malzahn didn't care too much about that as recruiting criteria. So Harsin has to run off some folks. If they get rid of Harsin, they will have a tough time finding a decent HC. The place will be on the 'do not go' list. The best thing I saw from that article: Defensive coordinator Derek Mason left for the same position at Oklahoma State. The most hilarious thing I saw from that article: It's a top-five job in the country. |

Howdy folks. Just thought I would drop by to let ya'll know that Mrs. Nalt's mother passed away this past Sunday evening. She went peacefully though she did suffer quite a bit through the day on Sunday. Tomorrow we will lay her to rest and then begin healing. Mrs. Nalt is doing pretty well considering... She is having some breakdowns occasionally but her and her brother Lee are planning to give the eulogy for the service. Also, I think Runt is possibly going to sing "Beulah Land" for his Mamaw...

I hope Jameson decides to come back. Metchie has a ring, but Jameson does not. He was on the receiving end of that Ohio State beat down last year. So he has lost the national championship 2 years in a row. I want him to have a ring before he leaves Title Town.
Hadn't thought about that. As hard as he worked and as good as he was, he deserves one. You guys are hallucinating.  If Jameson wants to go to the NFL there is obviously nothing wrong with that. He was trying to get back in the game last night but the doctors wouldn't let him. Could be because he wants a ring really bad, or it could be because he knew it was now or never. Just last year there were a bunch of guys that came back for another year because they felt like they had some unfinished business. I would not be surprised if he makes that same decision.  I think the team will be fine either way. |

Not sure why we are even playing this game. I've heard all day long how UGA is the better team. We must have just gotten lucky the first time. We beat them by 17 the first time and yet they are a 2 1/2 point favorite in the rematch a month later. They should have just saved all the fans the trouble of having to travel to Indiana and just shipped the big golden lipstick trophy to Athens.
