I'm in SC where it has rained for a day and a half. Mrs 2 is hunkered down in P'cola under a tornado warning. Radar looks horrible there.
Pray for Mrs. 2

Howdy folks.  Another rainy day with the possibility for some severe weather this afternoon.

The UCONN/Purdue game was fun to watch.  The two bigs got really winded about mid-way through the first half and the game then went to the small guys taking mid-range and three point shots. I was hoping Purdue would end the hopes for a back to back by Uconn but it wasn't to be.  It seems that many are saying that "Purdue was clearly the 2nd best team this year" but I'm not convinced. I think Bama could have beaten Purdue.

Good morning folks.  Rain all day here and probably all week too.  I haven't decided for sure if I'm going to go to the A-day game this Saturday or not.  I want to go but the whole 3-1/2 hours drive down there and then back again just isn't as appealing as it once was...

It was a great season for Bama Basketball for sure.  Even though it didn't end as we hoped, our team lasted longer than I expected so I am thrilled by their performance.  CNO got a big pay increase and it looks like there is a very real possibility that Nelson might come back next year.  I doubt Sears will as he was literally one of the very best players in the country all season long.

Look forward to next year already but want to wait and see what CKD and the football team does first...

Good morning folks.  I'm back in the office today for the first time since I got home.  LOTS to catch up on...

I would absolutely LOVE for Bama to come out on top against Uconn. My gut tells me that it most likely won't happen.

Can you imagine though, how butt-hurt the Barners would be if Bama were to upset Uconn and then go on to play Purdue and win the NC?  If that happened, it would give them upset wins against three of the four #1 seed teams in the tourney.    Instead of rolling those oak trees, they would probably burn them down...

Home to take a shower and shave and back to hospital. Mrs Dottie is breathing better. They pulled over 2 Liters of fluid out of her. Hope and pray Alabama can do well this weekend. RTR!

Well, I made it home safe.  It was a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong trip though. I don't mind the travel but those long flights wear you out...

Regardless, I managed to sleep almost 12 hours last night and I am feeling much better now.  Looking forward to a nice long weekend and watching Bama beat the Husky's on Saturday night.

How exciting will it be if Bama were to beat three, #1 seed teams in the Dance?  Man, the booger eaters down in the edge of Georgia would be livid!

Final Aloha folks for this trip.  I fly for home tonight.

Really bad storms supposed to start firing at home this afternoon.  Prayers that everyone is safe.

Mrs Dottie is in RMC in Anniston, Al. with Pneumonia again. Been there since last Tuesday. RTR!
Glad to see you back Preacher.  Sorry to hear that Mrs. Dottie is sick again.  Prayers for a speedy recovery.

So Bama beat Clemson to make it to the Final-four and then Tenrsea got beat in their Elite-eight game and are back in Knoxville crying now.  Man, I hate Tenrsea...

Aloha folks.  I'm getting ready to head back home.  Waiting on management to make a couple of decisions and then I'll be getting in touch with corporate travel to schedule a ride back to North Alabama... Looking forward to getting there too...

Happy Easter everyone

Bama beat a tough Clemson team 89-82 to advance to the Final-4 for the first time in program history.  Now they have to beat a smoking hot, high scoring UCONN.  This will be the toughest game all season IMO.
