I guess those guys think a little more about the toughness of the PAC 12 than I do.

He was paying it forward. But he must've seen something he liked in you. I'm sure you'll get that same rewarding feeling giving your old clubs to someone that'll appreciate them! RTR

He is one of the nicest people I have met.  I just wish there was something I could do for him.

Great idea.  Thanks

For some reason these guys think they are above the law, or special.  They are special in the ability they have.  I hate to say this, but sometimes their high school coaches allow them to get away with too much which carries over later in life.  However, what did the parents do to change this behavior in the beginning?

High school coaches aren't the only ones lookng the other way. Try college coaches, police, boosters, fans (us included), and others. When the real world hits these guys (like an arrest, paying bills, or bankruptcy), they respond poorly. In extreme cases, some athletes grow up, like Michael Vick & Ray Lewis.

Great points.

Not Phil, actually, his name is Greg Chalmers.

Living out here in the DFW area and especially where I live near the DFW airport, there are many professional athletes living in the area. This is true for PGA golfer.  One relatively unknown PGA golf came to our golf banquet.  Got to speaking with him and he made the statement too bad you don't have more left handed golfers.  I told him I play left handed.  He told me to stop by his house and see if he had any clubs that I wanted because he was getting sent so much equipment he was getting ready to junk it.  I went by and came out with 4 or 5 drives, 2 three woods, a rescue club, 5 or 6 wedges and 4 or 5 putters.  One of the drivers hasn't even been assembled on the shaft yet and the shaft alone has a $399 price tag on it.  This is one of the nicest people I have ever met.  By the way, he also thew in 4 tickets to the Colonial today.

Manyof these athletes come from a bad background.  They have the opportunity to get themselves out of the situation in which they were raised.  It is a shame they take the wrong path and hurt themselves and others.  I guess many of them have, for lack of better words, a Superman complex. I feel bad for him, but also blame him.

i like the comment about great feet.  In my opinion many qb mistakes are because they don't move use their feet especially when coming off their first read.

I am sorry, you are correct.

I was surprised how low UF qb was rated and can't wait to see how those exBig 12 qbs do in the SEC.

Driskel will have to prove himself I think. I know he was playing as a true freshman last year, but he sure didn't show much.
He was doing pretty well against Bama until he got hurt.
