The trip was great and the courses kicked my butt. I have never lost so many golf balls in my life. I haven't been this frustrated with my game in a long while. The coaches that went with me liked Grand National the best with Capitol Hill a close second. I will say the beer girl at Capitol was a-one and we did take a picture with her. I think one of the guys ask her to marry him that day. All the people were nice and we are already talking about next year. I did take them to Golden Rule and they loved the food. One coach went on the trip the year before and understood what southern hospitality is and the new guy learned very quickly.

Growing up a Braves fan, there were many players I admired. My Brother's favorite was Orlando Cepada. I had many who I would call favorites. One was Steve Avery, don't know why, but at a time I thought he had the best stuff of all pitchers. I also like Andruw Jones. Actually, there are just too many to list.
Always enjoyed the 90s Braves, especially the pitchers. BTW, hsCoach, did you check out the football recruit (Bo Scarbrough) in the other thread? Interested to know what you think. No I did not see that.

You must have CLASS:
CONFIDENCE: You must have confidence in what you do and show you team mate. Forget about the other team LEADER: You are the leader of this team and you must act like one. ACTIONS: You actions will always speak louder than your words. Show don't say. STRENGTH: You must be strong, let people talk, who cares, you have the ring. SACRIFICE: Too be a champion you must sacrifice. Extra time spent in the film room, on the practice field, or studing the playbook will allow you to be successful without having to talk.

Stallings did a great job with the team. He knew the stengths and weakness of the team. Like he said the team health was crucial. I do want to bring up this unpoplular part however. Many of those players were recurited by Bill Curry, who I think was putting together a talented football team. Finally, for you other old timers, the music on the soundtrack, does it remind you of an old TV program like the Twiglight Zone or 77 Sunset Strip?

Does anyone understand this? How can Bama not be near the top, if not leading, of the womens? They have NC's in softball, golf, and gymnastics.
