Title: Bama jumps to #1 in the AP Poll Post by: Hannibal Lecter, MD on February 13, 2023, 11:36:23 AM Purdue (previous #1) lost yesterday, but Bama also jumped #2 Houston.
Unfortunately as we go through the year, it doesn't appear the SEC is as good as first assumed. The conference's only other ranked team is Tennessee at #10. I hope this doesn't mean Bama is just looking good against poor or mediocre competition. But that has more to do with us having our toughest road game of the year Wednesday rather than some sportswriters voting. Joe Lunardi with ESPN still has us as the #1 overall one seed.
