Title: Alabama 2021 Fall Football Preview by Unit
Post by: Marshal Dillon on August 11, 2021, 10:34:16 AM
This appears to be a series of previews of different units on the team.

Under the guidance of Kyle Flood, the 2020 offensive line was awarded with the Joe Moore Award as the best collegiate football offensive line unit. With Flood moving on to Texas, it is the task of Doug Marrone to rebuild the line that saw three starters head to the NFL.

This preview is the Running Backs.

The Starter

Brian Robinson - The Tuscaloosa native is finally getting his chance to be the guy for the Tide. He’s been the #2 running back behind Najee Harris the last two seasons and has looked solid. He accounted for 509 yards from scrimmage last season with 6 touchdowns.

I think we have the talent on the line to win all the games BUT:, Are gonna have the effort all year or do we look like we did in the Sugar Bowl against Utah and Oklahoma a couple of years. RTR!

The Quarterbacks.

Quote
Unlike Mac, Bryce didn’t have an opportunity to sit and watch for multiple seasons. He is going to be thrown into the fire as a true sophomore, further complicated by the fact that a dearth of cupcake games saw him throw all of 22 passes as Jones’ understudy last season. What we know about Bryce is that he is small, quick and fast. He has a lightning quick release, and a strong and accurate arm. His high school coach raved about his football IQ and his leadership.

Really, the main concern/challenge is who will be the next impact player or players at receiver. After Smith, Waddle, and even Juedy from the previous year, who can be the game changer? I like Hall, but who knows.

Our QB's with a little time to play and learn will be just fine by the playoff time. RTR!
