Tide & Auburn play @ 6 pm on ESPN2. Tide is 19-6, Barn 12-13, 6-10 in SEC with a NET 69, but still a dangerous team. We need to hit 3’s, block out under the basket to prevent easy rebounds, and keep turnovers down. We need plenty of energy on the floor on defense & offense to carry us into the SEC Tourney in Nashville. Wish I could go.

A few other GOOD notes to add to MD"s list.

We never trailed in the game.

We had 13 steals that lead to 23 AU turnovers. The most turnovers AU has had in a game this year.

We had 32 points in the paint, AU had 26. This is important since we were out rebounded.

Bruce Pearl seemed happy in his post game interview that they held us to 24 points less than the first game in Auburn. He failed to mention we held them to 32 points less than they scored in the first game.

Bruce Pearl was good things to say about Bama. He mentioned 2-3 times we are the best defensive team in the SEC. He also said we are difficult to guard because we put 5 scorers on the floor and move the ball well.

I do not know if you would call this a good win but we took care of business.

Well done guys. It has been a long time since being in the Big Dance. RTR!
