AND THE UGLY

Three Tide players had 4 fouls, and another fouled out with 5
Keon Ellis looked awful on defense and fouled out, too. He was constantly lost and let Barn players get past him to score easy baskets.

Someone needs to tell Auburn they lost! Reading their articles and message boards they got a moral victory. I understand they are excited about their new freshman but they lost on their home floor to their arch rival.

Tidesports has a good write up on the game by Cecil Hurt. He talked about the experience seniors John Petty, Herb Jones, Alex Reese and Jordan Bruner bring to the team. It especially was on display in the final minutes of the game. Barn freshman Cooper was giving us a lot of trouble. At the under 4 minute timeout Petty stepped up with 4 fouls and said he wanted to guard him, he wanted the match up. He shut the freshman down causing two critical turnovers in the finals minutes and scoring a game winning put back off an offensive rebound. Bruner had his best game. Herb was his normal self. Playing hard on both ends. Bama was -15 points when Herb was not in the game.

For years I have enjoyed the teams in the tournament that were mostly seniors and played with maturity. I hope we can be one of those teams. Right now we are looking like a dangerous team capable of making some post season noise.

We play UK at Rupp on Tuesday. They are much better than at the beginning of the year. They destroyed Florida on UF's home floor yesterday. It will be a difficult match up for us. They are very long and athletic. 

Yes sir, the UK game will show us what this year's team is made of I think. RTR!

ESPN and the SEC Network were the same way. You never would have belived Bama won.

Just wait if we make the Big Dance this year the media will be all over it. RTR!
