Sad he was a sport to the game. His little chubby legs just running out to the mound. RIP Tommy and God's Blessings to the family. RTR!

RIP Coach! I have always been an American League guy but Lasorda was a class act and a fine coach.

Quote
Lasorda played in MLB for the Dodgers in 1954 and 1955 and for the Kansas City Athletics in 1956. He coached for the Dodgers from 1973 through 1976 before taking over as manager. Lasorda won two World Series championships as manager of the Dodgers and was named the Manager of the Year of the National League (NL) twice. The Dodgers retired his No. 2.

I'm not sure that anyone has ever loved baseball as much as Tommy.   He wanted to be around it until the end and was constantly encouraging and instructing.

The Dodgers also lost Vin Scully's wife Sandi last week to ALS.   So sad to see anyone go through that horribly debilitating disease.
