1) Our defense was atrocious last year on signaling and getting set pre-snap. The guys who went to the NFL off our D last year admitted it was a huge problem. Moses being back along with hopefully the coaching staff improving has helped that greatly. 2) He plays virtually every snap, making him the LBer (when we're in dime and nickel) that the defense is always going to try to expose on a matchup. Tough job, and I feel that's the situation where most people think he's shown "poor play." 3) Our DL isn't the dominate guys who soak up 5 OLinemen and let the LBs roam free like was often the case in the Rolando and Hightower days. I'm not a good enough analyst to study film and make those type of projections, but even if he's only a 3rd on 4th round pic, there aren't a lot of teams with a MLBer that's going to go higher this year. |
