Title: Ray Perkins Has Passed Away

Ray was two years ahead of me at Bama.  Saw hm play in many games.  I was living in New York City when he left the Giants to return to Bama.  Folks in NYC thought he was crazy for leaving, but I understood where his heart was.  (Of course a few years later his heart followed the money to Tampa.)

He grew up in Petal, Ms, right across the street from my Uncle and cousins. They were good friends. Very sad to hear this.

He was my favorite WR, and I wanted to wear #88 in high school because of him.  RIP   :pray:
