Title: Bama football practice
Post by: 2Stater on August 24, 2020, 02:54:25 PM
Apparently, Mac Jones and Bryce Young are both looking good in practice.

Quote
“I think Mac Jones has taken more of a personal role,” Waddle said. “He is more confident. He is really leading the team. He came in late last year. It was more of a process of him getting better and more confident with the offense. Now, he is looking really, really good.”

Quote
“Bryce is looking really good,” Waddle said. “He’s learning. He learns quick and fast. He’s really just showing his talent and what he can do right now.”

Kicking sounds like it has improved. I read in other articles that the place kicking is still a competition but Reichard looks good. Punting also needs to improve.
Quote
— As Nick Saban mentioned, Will Reichard was 4 for 5 on field goals with his only miss coming on a kick of about 55 yards.

Will Anderson sounds like the real deal. It is being reported our O-line cannot block him.
Quote
— Five-star freshman outside linebacker Will Anderson continues to stand out, continues to cause problems for the Tide’s offensive linemen and continues to look poised to make a big impact this season. It’s not a stretch to say that Anderson may already be one of Alabama’s best and most talented defensive players.

It sounds like Trey Sanders has made a full recovery from his injury.
Quote
Alabama’s young running backs did some good things, most notably redshirt freshman Trey Sanders. The former five-star recruit had some standout moments. So did four-star freshman Jase McClellan.

The news on Will Anderson has been sounding impressive for a while.   That's going to really chap Kirby if he ends up being a star, since he let him slip out of Georgia.
