Guys like Reese, Shackleford, & Bolden have to give us good, solid minutes. Kira Lewis has struggled last two games, we have to have him going 100%, maybe 110%.

Might as well get used to turnovers with this team.  It is an every game occurrence.

Fouls have definitely been one side the 2nd half.  Last count I saw was 25-14. 

I hate to say it, but his is a game where the officials had a say in the outcome.

Tide loses 68-67 at home. A complete choke job by Bama and Oats out-coached by Rick Barnes. A stumbling, bumbling, tripping, falling down, and awful game by entire team.

It's hard to play at the pace Oats wants to go with the current roster.

I know of a couple of plays that were very questionable.  One they called a foul for a block, where the guy lowered his shoulder and plowed into the Tide player.   Also when the last big man fouled out, it looked like the UT player went over the back of a Bama player to keep the ball alive on a missed shot,  Fouls 14 called on UT, to 26 on Bama.  UT was in the bonus early in the second half and Bama didn't get in there until under 2:00 minutes left in the game.  With that being said, Bama did blow a big lead again and has to learn to finish the game.

We have got to have some depth. We won't get that until we find a recruiter that can get some people that are good who want to play for the Tide. RTR!

Coach Oats is a good recruiter.  Bama will get there.

In the interview I saw on youtube he looked confused as to why they can't hold a lead. But with all those fouls we can't be the other team and the refs. RTR!

I don't believe the refs are calling fouls unfairly against us.  We're just not playing well.

He might know, Bama doesn't have the depth yet to run his system, but he's not going to state that to the press or throw his players under the bus.

That was the 2nd over the back in a couple minute stretch that went uncalled.

It looks quite doubtful that we'll make the tournament this year, but if we did, we'd be much better off defensively (as far as foul calls go) than in SEC play.   Look at South Carolina a few years ago...they were mediocre in SEC play but flourished in the NCAA tournament because of their brand of defense.  The SEC refs like to be WAY too involved in the games.  Doug Shows, I'm looking at you.

It does seem to me, in the games I have watched, there are some ref's who want to be the center of attention.  I know a couple of the guys are young, but the questionable passes some of these guys are making has to be corrected.  It would be great to have the depth to make an example with taking these guys out when the time arises. 

At least I didn't waste 2 hours watching this time.  I am officially unbuckled, for now.  I will check back around SEC tourney time.
