For his career in Chapel Hill, Tucker caught 36 passes for 549 yards and four touchdowns, appearing in 38 games. Tucker was granted a sixth year of eligibility.

Don't know if he's worth a position.  He'd only have one year, and he wouldn't arrive until summer.

We need some depth there. Not sure he is what we're looking for, but you never know.

My only note is: If CNS wants him there is a reason for sure. RTR!

Prolly will take up a bench seat usually reserved for one of our 14 QBs.   :lol2:

Apparently he can return kicks, which is unusual for a T.E.  In H.S., he had a kickoff return for 70 yards. (Still not expecting that at Bama...)

It looks like Clemson recruited him out of H.S.  Not sure why he picked UNC.  Hopefully he can be a solid player in a position of need for Bama.

To me, this is about filling a (hopefully) short term need with a good player.  It's short term because we have & will recruit to fill our needs.  But next year we need depth & experience at TE.  Hope he works out as well as Colin Peak did a few years back.

Also short term because he only has one year of eligibility left.

Well if he can come in and support the TE position and be a good run blocker we will be ok. RTR!
