Title: 2020 Iron Bowl
Post by: Catch Prothro on December 28, 2019, 09:19:19 AM
The lead up to next year's Iron Bowl will have a different feel than past years.

Instead of playing an FCS cupcake in the week before the Iron Bowl, Bama will face the Texas A&M Aggies in Tuscaloosa that week.

Apparently the SEC schedulers are tired of having no big games on that weekend.

At least it won't be one-sided.  Auburn plays LSU that weekend.

For sure.  Although, I believe that LSU's success this year is going to be more of a flash in the pan than the beginning of a dynasty...

They moved UGA v Auburn to Oct. 10.  So the Barn can coast through early November, Arky and UMass, before LSU and Bama.

Bama's November is LSU, UT Martin, Aggies then the Barn.
