1. Golding needs to go.
2. We beat ourselves.
3. 2 interceptions was 14 points for auburn which would have been 34 point total.
4. Injuries killed us this year.
5. We need a kicker that is not growing but hits through the uprights.
6. We need a punter that can flip the field.
7. Excuses and the first year we miss the playoffs.
RTR!

The first thing he said about the Dylan Moses injury was spot on.  Change that one injury and we are not even having this discussion.  Even with that injury, our offense was powerful enough to carry the team any way until Tua was injured.

There is an ebb and flow to the dynasty.  We've won 2 more national championships since the first time they declared the dynasty over.  We won't win it every year, but we will be competing for it as long as Saban is in charge.

The kicking game is a legitimate ongoing concern.  There is something wrong with the way we recruit/evaluate kickers.

The S&C comments are absurd in my opinion.

1.  I think the comments about SC don't have merit.  First, the DL wasn't getting the push needed, especially on the pass rush, however, many were freshmen.  Very few freshmen can come in with the upper body strength to be a true force on the DL.
2.  The DB's could/need to play better.  However, this also correlates with the statement above.  Playing DB is extremely difficult with out a decent pass rush.  The busted coverages this year were a problem a few times.
3.  Penalties have to be addressed.  How many times this year did Bama extend drives for the opposing offense because of penalties?  One is too many, especially in close games.
4.  Tackling has to be a priority.  Not just stripping the ball.  Tackle first, strip second is the way to go.
5.  Better assignment football, especially on the DL where I include the outside backers.

I really think that priority should be commitment to your school for 3 years. Our depth is never good because we have so many early quitters, and go for the mega bucks. Sorry I got it out and I don't feel any better.  :-X , RTR!

Fortunately for college football players, the NFL helps in that aspect.  They require a player to be 3 years out of high school before they are draft eligible.  A school is going to get those three years as long as he gets to play enough to keep him from transferring.  They also have five years to play four seasons.  That elusive 4th year of play is what we are missing.  Also, in today's football climate, when there are millions of $$ on the line I personally feel it would be foolish for a kid to "come back" for his fourth season if he is good enough for the next level.  Would I be happy if many or most of our draft eligible juniors decide to come back for their Sr. season?  Yes.  But at least in the case with Tua, I think that is taking a gamble that already has the odds NOT in his favor.

I agree in this case and also because I think we will be ok at the QB position. RTR!

Interesting.

I have no doubt there will be some coaching changes.

CNS will figure it out as he always does.
