Another option would be to go to ESPN or CBS Sports and enter the pickem there. 

Save SC a lot of typing, or at least cut and paste.

I don't recall if we've done that for football/bowls.   ???

Good call CP. I just started a group in ESPN Bowl Mania if y'all want to do that. The group name is; CRS Crushers. Group motto is; Boo Yah!

The way it works; you pick the winner and place it in a confidence point position. The more confident you are that a particular team will win, the higher the points. Your most confident pick will be at #41. Your least confident pick will be at #1.

We do this at the Woolly every year and it's quite fun. Here is the link if you want to participate and keep SC from getting carpal tunnel.

Yeah, I hate having to do that confidence level thing.  And ESPN doesn't use point spreads.  So it's different from our competition and does not combine with the season's results.

I went ahead and submitted a pick to CRS Crushers anyway....   Picking quickly, assigning confidence points, still takes 20 minutes.

Yeah, big difference in picking 10 regular season games each week, and 41.

All 41 games do not have to be picked by the start of the first game.  Each game can be picked up until its own start.

Except you have to ascribe confidence levels to the games, so games become locked into position once complete.

Part of me wants to see the results, another part thinks we might all be better off without them.

I had Pitt too.  I figured a 7-5 ACC school should do better than squeak out a win against a 6-6 bottom level MAC team.  Maybe the pundits were right, the ACC was really down this year.  All that talk about best conference went completely out the window.

That is exactly what I did.  This morning I noticed that we both had Louisiana, so I changed to Miami (OH).  That change paid off.  At the time he did not have a pick for Clemson/LSU, so I thought I would jump ahead of him with my LSU pick.  But alas, he has picked LSU now, so I changed my pick to Clemson.  It is my only shot, so long as he doesn't change his pick to Clemson right at the last second.

I'm OK with Clemson though, I would actually prefer that they win it.  Unfortunately I don't think that is going to happen though.

I tried that -- win or go home -- but the pick changes I made sent me tumbling off the leader board.   :lol2:
