I believe this was more of a "staffer" position than full blown coaching position. That's a heck of a jump in 10 years. This is the same Mike Leach who lost to a Mike Shula coached Bama team in the 2006 Cotton Bowl -- Bama held Texas Tech to just 10 points. I remember them saying Bama's DB's couldn't play man to man on the Tech receivers.
