Here we go playing another solid team. Hope to see more improvement in rebounding. UNC is best rebounding team in NCAA. Also, we have to stay out of foul trouble, shoot more FT’s by driving to basket and drawing fouls.

Great start.  Bama up 14-4.  Petty on fire with 3/3 3-pointers plus and steal/dunk for 11 points.

Tide 9-2, two 3’s by Petty and one by Reese. 9-4. Jones charges, turnover. Petty steals ball for 2. He has 11 points. 14-4 Tide. Now 16-7 Tide. Very fast moving game.

21-20 Tide. Jones gets 2nd charging foul. Both teams playing fast. Tide 7/21 FG 33%.

If these players grow into the pace, and cut out some mistakes, I can see this team being pretty good this year.

Refs are missing foul calls.  Probably too busy catching up, and catching their breath.

Petty on fire with 18 points in 12 minutes of first half. 31-30 ISU. Tide has 7 turnovers.

Bama is the third fastest playing team in the country this year.

But another mistake, turnover.

Well after watching our team against UNC and ISU I really look forward to next year. RTR!

Yep, can't get too hyped up over a first year coach.  Look at Saban's first season at Bama.  Much improvement by year 2.

The funny thing about BB is you never know when a time might go on a run or suddenly figures things out. Long season and have not started SEC games yet. We need more than just Lewis or Petty taking care of business. Jones Neds to learn how to shoot from 3 feet out from basket. Young players are still learning like Shakleford.
