For the record I picked Virginia.

I just checked, and 2 also picked Virginia.  For a Friday night game, that's probably the kiss of death.

Short week, but Virginia had Saturday off after losing at Notre Dame 2 weeks ago.  So they've been stewing.

Virginia is dominating time of possession but still no points.

UVA kicker is worse than Bama's kicker.  Kicks football straight into the line.  Miss.

UVA 0  Miami 7   4:40 till halftime.

Last year, I'd make the proper pick on Thursday or Friday, and then tank on Saturday.

If Va would quit shooting themselves in the foot, they'd be leading this game.

Virginia has had 5 drives into the red zone and scored 6 points.

UVA 6  Miami 10   Ten minutes left in game

Virginia in the red zone again. See if they get any points this time.

I've never seen a more disorganized offense than UVA's.  They can't pass block, can't run, and their play calls are idiotic.  They run slow-developing plays at the goal; get sacked.  Their QB is a talent looking for a plan.

WTH?  Just crappy football in the ACC.

Still a basketball conference.   ;)

The "experts" have been saying since the beginning of the season just how bad the ACC was this year  (except for Clemson).  It's why Clemson's toughest game is considered the Aggies.

It's also why they keep bringing up this stupid concept: "Is is possible for Clemson to win out and still not make the playoffs?"   I don't know who writes that garbage.  They are last year's champions, if they go undefeated of course they will be in -- that's one of the criteria if they paid any attention.

I forgot to make a pick, but I would have chosen Virginia. Actually. I’m glad Miami won.
