Title: FedEx Cup Post by: 2Stater on August 17, 2019, 05:55:17 PM Justin Thomas brought Medina to it's knees today, obliterating the course record, that he set on Friday, by shooting a 61 today. He was masterful, and is at -21, 6 strokes clear of the field. If he holds on to win tomorrow, he will be the top ranked player going into the last tourney at East Lake in Atlanta next week, for all the marbles.

Title: Re: FedEx Cup Post by: pmull on August 18, 2019, 08:22:36 AM He hit his irons as well as I have ever seen in one round. As great as his 61 was it could have been better. Out of his 7 pars 5 were very makeable birdie putts.
He started the round with 5 straight birdies. He ended up with 8 birdies, 2 eagles (one holed out from 180 yards), 1 bodey and 7 pars. To say he played well is an understatement.
