But I think this may have been forced by a legal/contract situation. This statement: "Coach Wade's explanations and clarifications offered during the meeting, absent actual evidence of misconduct, satisfy his contractual obligation to LSU," Alleva said." So if the coach met his obligations under his contract then maybe they had no grounds for terminating him. LSU may be on solid legal ground, but the wiretap recording is still out there, and I gotta believe it will hurt them. The FBI ain't going away. That's crossed my mind too, but somehow I doubt it. I know the whole story will come out sooner or later, but if he's truly not guilty, and indeed was working with the FBI, it needs to come out sooner rather than later, or he's not going to be able to recruit a paraplegic. If he was working with the FBI someone would have notified LSU and let him coach in the SEC and NCAA Tournaments. LSU may be working with the FBI to nail this scum bag.
