Title: Alabama Softball- Hildebrand Tournament Post by: Leewillie on February 15, 2019, 07:25:46 PM Bama pitchers threw 2 shut outs on the opening day of the Hildebrand Invitational in Tuscon, AZ
In the first game against South Florida, freshman Montana Fouts went 7 innings allowing 3 hits, no runs, no walks, and 12 strikeouts. In the second game Krystal Goodman and Sarah Connell shutout New Mexico 1-0 Games tomorrow against Cal State Fullerton and #9 Arizona. We start the season 9-0. We finish up the Tucson trip with our final game this afternoon against Illinois Chicago (UIC). We return home to host the Bama Bash next weekend. The win over Arizona is a good measuring stick as to what kind of team the ladies have, I think. Sure wish I could make the Bama Bash. That might work out well for us if Auburn's as good as they were last year, but there's something inherently wrong with those two schools not playing each other.
I was looking at possibly buying some tickets for a Florida or Auburn game.
