We may still lose a couple of players.
But there are good players we're chasing too.

I noticed the word "commit" by each one of these names. I hope the coaches can do a great of flipping these players, and yes, I said flip them. It seems the to do in college football today. RTR!

With all the coaching changes Bama has had, I'd be surprised if we don't loose some guys.  Just hope not too many.

That's why Sopsher got a visit from Coach Golding.

Hey, Chech, thanks for the RBR link above.  Great update on the home stretch of recruiting.  A couple of high ranked surprise additions to this class would help turn the narrative from the NC game.

Really interesting to me how the new ass't coaches are already on the recruiting trail for Bama.  Their hiring hasn't even been officially announced yet they are out there on the job!

This is one of the reasons I think most coaches leave early cause our coach demands the best of everybody, coaches and players, etc. RTR!

It would be a shame to lose Bogle, but I guess we can't have them all.

Well Mr 2stater, I sure hope we get them all. Like CPB did back in the day. RTR!

Your memory is slipping, Mr. Ricky023.  Coach Bryant concentrated on recruiting within the State of Alabama and seldom signed 5-star players from outside the state.  We worshiped the few he did get.

But regardless, here are some facts about Coach Bryant you might enjoy reading:

Back in the 60s and 70s, it would have been next to impossible for coaches to even know about great players from several states away unless they got a call from someone in their "network" who had seen the player play or a high school coach sent them film or some such.  And they certainly weren't flying around the country on recruiting trips all year.

Unfortunately the MSU DL-commit Nathan Pickering has cancelled his official visit to Tuscaloosa this weekend.
