Title: Bama loses To Georgia St 83-80 Post by: pmull on December 05, 2018, 06:47:43 AM Tuesday for a bad night for Alabama Basketball. After scoring 51 points and building a 21 point lead at halftime we got beat by a team we should easily defeat. The second half was slow and sloppy. We could not make a bucket and missed too many free throws down the stretch. The score was tied 80-80 and we had the ball. He got two good shots off but never was close to going in. GA St got the ball with 15 seconds to go and played for the last shot nailing a 3 while time ran out.
I am worried about this team. We have no chemistry or leadership. Donta Hall is not the rim protector he has been in the past. Too many turnovers and bad shots. No defense. We let guards get all the way to the basket for an easy lay-up too often. A lot of work and improvement is needed for us to be a good team. We are 5-3 with Arizona going in on Sunday. This fan is buckled up, the team and coaching staff needs to do the same. I had hoped that we were going forward after last season.

I listened to the game on the radio. Very disappointing. No way this should happen at our place to Georgia State. Absolutely no excuses can be accepted. In my opinion, Coach Johnson is officially on the hot seat. We have experience and good players but where's the progression and further development?
