Tua Tagovailoa is “OK,” and Jalen Hurts is “day-to-day.” Alabama head coach Nick Saban addressed the two quarterbacks during his Monday news conference, stating both will practice this week as the team prepares for Saturday’s game against The Citadel.

“Whatever those guys can do, we’re going to have them do and get as many reps for them as we can,” Saban said. “As a coach, it’s a little difficult to manage guys who are injured because regardless of what the medical circumstance is the player has to be confident that he can do what he can do to go out there and do the job well. That’s something we can evaluate as we go through the week.”

The good news about Tua playing Citidal is our O line should be able to keep their D off of him for the most part. At least, until we’re up enough to get him out of the game.   :dunno:

Yeah, for sure.
Best news in this is that Tua is ABLE TO PLAY.  Hopefully that means his sore leg is healing enough to allow him to be mobile.  We should know more after tomorrow's practice report.

Where do we go to in order to vote on "No QB runs/slides"?  :dunno:

Isn't 2 going to the game?  If so, I expect HIM to tackle Tua if he tries to run/slide!

Well if 2 can't run Tua down them maybe he can throw his grandson at him... We gotta figure out a way to keep that Polynesian boy healthy...

Indeed.  Either Tua's just bone-headed or overconfident, but regardless he's got to realize that his knee is the key to our next Natty.  No knee, no Natty.

I'm good with Jacobs running that wildcat 2/3 plays this week.  He said they have lots of options practiced from that formation.

Once we get up 28-0, you know, with about 10 minutes left in the first quarter, we won't see much of Tua anymore.
