Reuben Foster isn't playing; hamstring injury. :( Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: 2Stater on November 01, 2018, 07:32:08 PM Temple leads 24-14 early in the 2nd quarter.

:popcorn2: Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: Chechem on November 01, 2018, 07:34:07 PM Oakland takes the opening kickoff, and drives down for a fg.
3-0 over San Fran. Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: Chechem on November 01, 2018, 07:36:08 PM This just in: "Temple can't tackle".
Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 01, 2018, 07:44:48 PM Watching National Champs playing Temple, good game. Also, watching Bucks/Celtics NBA game. Two good teams. Have zero interest in the two loser train wrecks in the NFL game tonight.
:dog: Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: Chechem on November 01, 2018, 07:46:32 PM 49ers 7 Raiders 3

Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: 2Stater on November 01, 2018, 08:49:53 PM UCF crowd is a bunch of whiny mofos.
Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: 2Stater on November 01, 2018, 08:51:47 PM And after the crowd meltdown, UCF scores. They lead 35-34.
Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 01, 2018, 09:15:34 PM Celtics 104 Bucks 95 8:00 left in game
I love a hard fought defensive game like the Owls & UCF. :eyeroll: Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 01, 2018, 09:35:41 PM That FG attempt by Owls looks like one Bama would kick. Ugly!
:yuck: Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 01, 2018, 09:52:20 PM UCF 42 Owls 40 9:00 left in game

UCF 52 - 40 Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: 2Stater on November 02, 2018, 06:00:00 AM Temple got screwed on some calls. Could have been a different outcome. Now, I guess we'll be hearing that UCF beat a quality opponent and should be in the playoffs. :eyeroll:

Now, I guess we'll be hearing that UCF beat a quality opponent and should be in the playoffs. :eyeroll: Neither one of those teams last night could beat Vandy (or anybody else in the SEC). I'm guessing they bought the bowl game with the Boogs. :tinfoil: Title: Re: Thursday Night Games Post by: Catch Prothro on November 02, 2018, 07:35:20 AM Temple got screwed on some calls. Could have been a different outcome. Now, I guess we'll be hearing that UCF beat a quality opponent and should be in the playoffs. :eyeroll: Refs screwed Temple. Non-call on the UCF pass interference, which led to missed Temple FG instead of probable TD, followed by highly questionable pass interference call on Temple which led to UCF TD. That was the difference in the game.I don't know Chech, UCF might have a chance against Vandy or Arkansas, although Mizzou is 0-4 in the SEC and clobbered a team, Memphis, that UCF squeaked out a win against. Certainly there are 9 or 10 SEC teams that could easily beat UCF, and the other games would be a toss up. I hate this small school hype from teams that don't play anyone. Look what happened to press darling Utah when they joined (sort of) a real conference. |
