Title: Week 7 Games
Post by: Catch Prothro on September 24, 2018, 11:45:45 AM
Georgia v LSU is the big game this week.

Bama plays Mizzou.

Bama and UGA have a lot of common opponents this year:

Missouri
LSU
Tennessee
Auburn

We should have a good feel for how they compare to each other before any potential game in the post season.

This may come as a shocker, but unless they play each other, Bama and Georgia have 4 common SEC opponents every year.   :o

Of course, this year 3 of the opponents should provide interesting games.   ;D

Good point.  I was only thinking of UT and Auburn, but 2 others rotate through every year.

Both Auburn and LSU should be good games.  LSU seems to defend Auburn better than Bama usually does.

It's not often that Bama and Georgia play LSU in the same year.

Ole Miss and Arky - that should be a real sight to see.

Arky has a Vandy game coming up in Week 9.  I was hoping Arky played TN this year, for the bottom of the SEC trophy.

Pitt lost 51-6 to Penn State.  They lost 45-14 to UCF.  They'll be hammered by Notre Dame too.  This isn't the Pitt team of year's past.  (Take note MD.)   ;)

You know you stink when you have to have a major rally to go 4-6.  :lol2:

Congrats to the two bamaphil(e)s, chech and SC.  Going 7-3 was way out of reach for me on this underdog weekend.   :worship:

It's all just luck when picking against the spread.
Imagine if we had to pick the Bama-Tenn game next week.  If the spread was 29 and Tua's play was in doubt,  :dunno:

Crazy to pick, but fun.

It's not all luck.  Sure, Aggies beating the spread by 1/2 point, or Oregon coming from behind and winning in OT, those are two games that could have gone either way.  Other games I could not have predicted, but they weren't that close.

I'll always have memories of going 10-0 in week 1, as I slide down the overall leaderboard to my rightful place.

I believe that the college officiating Crews monitor this site and deliberately make sure that I lose between 2 and 8 games each week
