The Texas A&M quarterback's completion rate has increased by 11 percent and his yards-per-attempt average has ballooned by roughly 50 percent. In a two-point loss to No. 2 Clemson earlier this month, Mond threw for 430 yards and contributed three touchdowns. A dual-threat player, Mond has the kind of mobility that helps him extend plays. For that reason, he could pose a challenge for Alabama's secondary -- a unit that has surpassed expectations thus far but remains a work in progress. Last week, freshman Patrick Surtain II replaced Saivion Smith at one of the outside cornerback positions. Could more changes be in store if Mond experiences some early success Saturday? ...
