Post by: bama57 on August 10, 2018, 07:50:48 AM
which teams will be the most difficult for us this year.   I'm talking about final score.   I think it'll be Mississippi State Auburn and Tennessee.......thoughts?

I'll bite...I think we will have a rough time beating aTm, UcheaT, LSU, and Awbren.  I think we will but those teams will make it more difficult for us, especially the goat-humpers of far west Georgia...

We have aubren at home so that don't worry so much. CJP is gonna have tenrc pumped when we play. MSU bulldogs new staff not so bad. The little guy at ta&m got a big time whipping when we beat fsu so I think he will be screaming. LSU as always will be ready to play us. So my picks would be the tenrc, ta&m, and lsu. RTR!

I don't think we have a tough game until LSU. They play fired up football against us in Baton Rouge. Even playing at home, I think we have a tough time against the barn, as bad as I hate to say it.

The talking heads think Miss St will give us a challenge. Ain't gonna happen.

Louisville: I think we beat them pretty bad. They could give our DB's some trouble but they are not good enough to hang with us.

Ark, ST, LA LA & Citadel:

Ole Miss: On the road. They will be looking for a new coach at the end of the year.

A&M: Jimbo will have them as ready as they can be but it will take him 1-2 more years to get them toughened up and competitive.

Arkansas: Chad Morris has the same problem as Jimbo only harder.

Mizzou: They will be good on offense but they cannot play with us.

UT: They have fallen and can't get up. They will be back but not anytime soon.

LSU: This will be a tough physical game on the road. They play their best game of the year and give us a test. We pull away late.

Miss State: I could understand the hype if Mullen was still there. Good QB, big tough line but we are better than them. They catch us at a good time each year right after a physical game with LSU.

Auburn: I never know what to expect out of those goof balls. When they are expected to be good they do terrible and vice versa. Even at home I think they give us our toughest game of the regular season but we win.

These three games are probably the toughest on paper.  I'll put them in this order of toughness:

1. Miss State has a new coach but a veteran program.  They will have the most NFL Draft players of any team Bama faces in the regular season.  Plus the game is after Bama plays LSU.  Game is dependent on MSt coaching.

2.  LSU.  Tough physical game in Baton Rouge.  They played Bama close last year, but they couldn't score.  I expect another tough battle.

3.  The Barn.  I expect Bama to exact revenge and clobber Auburn at home.
