Title: Bama v Kentucky
Post by: Catch Prothro on March 10, 2018, 10:42:05 AM
Game is today at noon on ESPN.

Joe Lunardi has moved Bama up to a 9 seed in the NCAA Tournament now, after the two wins.  Not the best bracket slot -- Creighton first game with winner probably playing no. 1 overall seeded team Virginia.  http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology

CBS's guy, Jerry Palm, has Bama as an 11 seed playing Miami in the first round.  This guy did not have Bama in the NCAA Tourney until the Auburn win.

It looks like Bama is probably in now, so time to enjoy the rest of the SEC Tourney, with the game today v. Kentucky.  The winner goes to the finals tomorrow.

I would love just to see for a great heart felt win for us to beat Kentucky in a close win so the guys know they can hold on. RTR!

If e had to play Creighton right now that would be a tough game. Those guys have a pretty good team. RTR!

I will probably have to mute the announcers today.  That is what I did when these guys called the Oklahoma game.

Bama is missing D. Hall big time so far.  He is out with concussion protocol after his fall v. the Barn.

Also, the team looks tired for their 3rd game in 3 days.

At halftime, Bama down by 9.  (It was 10 yesterday.)  It could be much worse -- defense has kept the score low.

Bama has shown some heart after getting down by 15 or so, but Kentucky just can't miss.

Well, that was a beat down.  Hard to compete with a team shooting like Kentucky though.

UK shot 81% in the 2nd half. They shot 89% from beyond the 3 point line. I have never seen a team shoot that well.

Well we played hard and got beat by a lucky team. They deserve to win I just hope they win it all so we look better to the Big Dance committee. RTR!

yeah, that one guy from the Sudan, who usually scores 6 points per game, went 7 for 7 on three point shots.  Bama fought hard, but Kentucky was hitting on all cylinders.

It's probably just as well that Bama lost, give them time to rest up for the NCAA, plus hopefully get D. Hall back.
