Also on locally ABC right now is the Alabama v Mississippi H.S. Championship.  Apparently several Alabama players withdrew from the game, probably signed their LOI early and decided not to risk it.

And just like that, Troy scores again. Up 22-7 now.

I was surprised GASt was favored in this game, although I haven't paid any attention to their team.  Congrats to them -- this is probably their first bowl game.

My bowl picks are not any better than my regular season. I went 1-4 yesterday winning only the Troy game. I even cheated. I used Greg McElroy's picks from ESPN. 

I heard Greg say he uses a technique of picking teams that are +6.5 or some such.  What was that??  I think he got it from ESPN's BEAR FALLICA.

I saw Greg's picks and thought he was crazy.  He picked ND over LSU.   ???

I picked FIU, so I suppose I'm totally responsible for the FIU QB's broken shoulder (early in 1st Q).

FIU's defense kept them in the game for a time, it was 7-3 in the third quarter, but they eventually wore down, and FIU's backup QB was lost.

I'm guessing you both picked C. Michigan?  It might have been a good pick at the time, Wyoming QB Josh Allen was questionable for the game, he missed the last two games of the season from a shoulder injury, and Wyoming wasn't the same without him.  But when he announced he was playing in this game,  the line changed by 3 points.  It appears from his early TD passes that he played at 100%.

So while Chechem's karma might have contributed to the FIU's QB injury, you can take heart in knowing that your combined pick of C. Michigan healed Josh Allen's injured shoulder and insured him a place in the NFL draft, as John Elway was at the game scouting him.    :clap:
