The No. 24 Alabama men's basketball team will continue its three-game homestand when it welcomes the UCF Knights on Sunday afternoon in Coleman Coliseum. The contest will tip at 1 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPNU.

UCF's center is 7'6"

Alabama leads 32-24 late in the first half. We've been up by as much as 11, but UCF is shooting 3's out of their minds to keep it within reach.

Bama leads at the half 36-30. They stretched the lead to 11 again but played pretty sloppy and got cold from the floor.

UCF is a 24% 3 point shooting team. They are making everything. Sexton and Petty are struggling a bit. Bama up 43-40 with Petty at the line. Score was tied at 38 a minute ago.

44-42 Bama. Team looks ragged today. UCF is an unimpressive 4-3. We need to play better than this. Donta Hall is playing well. When they can hit him down low, he's hammering it home. Our outside shooting looks like last year.

Bama totally shipping the bed. Turnovers out the wazzoo, no rebounding, UCF getting easy dunks and we are stone cold from outside. The worst this team has looked this year. Down by 5 right now, with UCF going to the foul line.

55-49 UCF. They were up by 9 a short time ago, but Bama is fighting back. Both big men for UCF have 4 fouls. Bama needs to keep pounding it down low. We are making nothing from outside. Never seen so many shots go in and out.

6:15 left, Bama down 55-52. Donta Hall having a monster game.

Bama down 58-57 but are playing with a fire in their belly now. Donta Hall is flat balling out!

Bama loses 65-62. Enough said. We looked like sh** except for Donta Hall.

Well sounds like we are back to the old Bama there. We will drop out of the rankings probably I guess. RTR!

Really sloppy way to end the game.  Down by one point, Bama had the basketball with 24 seconds left, but turned it over allowing UCF an easy layup.  Then Bama never got a decent shot off, dribbled, looked around at the coach, called a T.O. with 2.8 secs left, and then tried a 3 pointer out of the T.O. which missed.  :(

Yeah, I watched on ESPNU.  It was indeed sloppy.
Alabama looked sluggish today.  Sexton didn't look relaxed or inspired.
UCF had a MONSTER guy in the middle; 7' 6" or so.  Just a GIANT!!

I wish we could get a channel to watch on here like we have in Football to hear it. RTR!

Ice cold and very sloppy in the 2nd half. Other than Hall no one played well. Hall played his best game yet against a guy who was about 8 foot tall. I do not think Sexton made a field goal. All his points came at the line.

Sexton made one basket; a three. He and Petty could get nothing going.

Sexton scored 7 points. 7 of 8 from the line. He missed his only 3 pt attempt. Petty scored 12 pts but he threw up a lot of shots. As a team we were ice cold. We were taking good shots. They were not bricks, I do not know how many rattled around inside the rim before popping out.

That's what I was posting in the in-game thread. I couldn't believe how many in and out shots we had.

Ingram's last shot especially.  We needed points, the clock was winding down, and his shot spun out.

I wonder if this gives Johnson to fuss and improve on maybe. RTR!
