 I hope the is a Schumor. This guy has no resume worth hiring, neither at the college or pro level. If this is true, I am ready to start a Fire Currie campaign. Find it hard to believe boosters would sign off on this.

 OMG [Image: 1f62e.png]? WOW really we are gonna be back in the same da#@ situation as before why not really take some time and find the best fit for Tennessee instead of just throwing someone in there just to fill a job!! I’m a huge fan of my vols but this is gonna be sad if this is there choice .

 Not sure this is a good move! I mean what have he done? Seams like Tennesse is hiring a waterted down Urban Myer with a loosing record as a Head coach because he is the right Shade! This is when that Good Old Boy Buddy boy mentality hurts the commen fan! Sorry Vol fans you will be in the hunt for a new coach in 3 years! Maybe you guys need a New AD as well! A forward thinking one who is color blind!

Looks like Schiano is out at Tennessee per Bleacher report, if true.  This may have been a trial balloon to gauge fan reaction.

A friend on the Gator board just posted that Schiano and UT had an agreement.  Now that UT has backed off he is asking to be compensated since the school broke their agreement...

How cool would it be for UcheaT to have to pay Butch Jones to leave and pay Schiano to not come there?  If those toothless wonders keep it up they will be asking for an upperclassman to do the coaching in exchange for paid tuition... :lol3:

Auburn admin and fans wanted him fired a few weeks ago. Now they are making the same mistake they made with Bowden, Tubs & Chizik. Give a big pay increase and extension with a big buyout. Malzahn will be gone in 2-3 years.

Yep.  Pretty shrewd on his part to make them commit to the big buyout.  I would love to have seen his departure ignite the pending dumpster fire, but I am just fine with him hanging around for a little while too.
