:lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

So UF fires a coach that won his division the first 2 years and hires a coach that has never even come close to winning his division in about 10 years.  CDM will probably do better in the east, but he will still have to beat the best from the west to win a championship.  It looks like UF will join UT in the never ending dumpster fire.

Meanwhile, UT is still UT.  I don't see much changing there.

All I want to know is....are there any guys from the MSU OL that would like to transfer to Bama?

I don't think the toothless natives like the Schiano hire either based on some of these comments...

I hope the is a Schumor. This guy has no resume worth hiring, neither at the college or pro level. If this is true, I am ready to start a Fire Currie campaign. Find it hard to believe boosters would sign off on this.

Not sure this is a good move! I mean what have he done? Seams like Tennesse is hiring a waterted down Urban Myer with a loosing record as a Head coach because he is the right Shade! This is when that Good Old Boy Buddy boy mentality hurts the commen fan! Sorry Vol fans you will be in the hunt for a new coach in 3 years! Maybe you guys need a New AD as well! A forward thinking one who is color blind!

Looks like Schiano is out at Tennessee per Bleacher report, if true.  This may have been a trial balloon to gauge fan reaction.

Mullen has the potential to be scary good at UF. Can he handle the increased pressure and expectations?

I don't see Schiano turning Tennessee into a national power any time soon. He's a solid coach, but not elite.

A friend on the Gator board just posted that Schiano and UT had an agreement.  Now that UT has backed off he is asking to be compensated since the school broke their agreement...

How cool would it be for UcheaT to have to pay Butch Jones to leave and pay Schiano to not come there?  If those toothless wonders keep it up they will be asking for an upperclassman to do the coaching in exchange for paid tuition... :lol3:

I lived in Grand Island, Nebraska from 1988 until 1994. Frost was a major college recruit from a very small school Wood River, NE. It was about 10 miles from Grand Island so we heard about him weekly. He shunned Nebraska and signed with Stanford. He sat the bench at Stanford for a year and transferred to Nebraska. He fit Osborne's offense perfectly. I thought Nebraska was going to go after him when they hired Mike Riley. I guess they wanted HC experience which he has now. I think this is a no brainer hire for Nebraska.

Auburn admin and fans wanted him fired a few weeks ago. Now they are making the same mistake they made with Bowden, Tubs & Chizik. Give a big pay increase and extension with a big buyout. Malzahn will be gone in 2-3 years.

Yep.  Pretty shrewd on his part to make them commit to the big buyout.  I would love to have seen his departure ignite the pending dumpster fire, but I am just fine with him hanging around for a little while too.
